At Dr. Sampada's Dental Clinic, your health and safety are our top priority. We adhere to the highest standards of infection control and sterilization protocols, following guidelines laid out by global and national dental health authorities. Every step in our sterilization process is designed to ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for both our patients and staff.

✅ Comprehensive Sterilization Process

1. Instrument Cleaning & Disinfection

Before sterilization, all dental instruments are thoroughly cleaned to remove debris using ultrasonic cleaners or enzymatic solutions. This crucial step ensures effective sterilization.

2. Use of Autoclave (Steam Sterilization)

We use  autoclaves for steam sterilization, which is the gold standard in infection control. Every instrument, including cotton rolls, gauze, and handpieces, is autoclaved at high pressure and temperature to eliminate all forms of microbial life, including spores.

3. Sterilization Pouches

All instruments are sealed in oro sterilization pouches before autoclaving. These pouches include indicators that confirm successful sterilization. Instruments remain sterile in the pouches until the time of use, ensuring maximum patient safety.

4. Single-Use, Disposable Items

We use high-quality, single-use disposables for each patient, including:

Examination gloves

Surgical masks and suction tips

Needles and syringes

Saliva ejectors and gauze

All disposable items are discarded safely after each use, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.

🦷 Dental Chair & Clinical Area Hygiene

1. Plastic Barriers & Chair Protection

Our dental chairs and frequently touched surfaces (e.g., light handles, suction holders) are covered with protective plastic barriers, which are replaced frequently. This prevents any potential contamination between appointments.

2. Surface Disinfection

All clinical surfaces are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly with hospital-grade surface disinfectants between each patient visit.

🧤 Staff Hygiene & PPE

Our clinical team strictly follows hand hygiene protocols. (gloves, masks, eye protection) during all procedures.

Gloves are changed for each patient and disposed of immediately after treatment.
